My boyfriend really loves birds recently?
Now that it’s spring, I find him watching birds and looking them up in his bird book. He recently bought two feeders too, and is just loving it.
Is there anything (besides seed, feeders, and books) that I could buy that he might enjoy?
A bird bath, a holder for suet cakes (and the cakes to fill it) and most important, get him a ‘Birder’s journal’ so he can write down the birds he’s seeing. A pair of binoculars would be good, too … they don’t have to be big and expensive … my husband got me a nice small pair for $50 and I carry it with me when we go for walks, or use it to see the birds outside my window more clearly. Also get him a hummingbird feeder and a good ‘recipe’ for feeding them … that will widen his view of birds … and it will become a lifelong hobby!
