2 month old Blue Crown Conure?
My parrot does not like me. I think its bcause I had him in a small cage for two houres after I picked him up. Now it has tryed to attack me once and maks sonds when I get near..He was hand feed since birth..My questionis how do I fix this? What do i need to do to make him happy?
At two months old, I can not imagine your baby bird is weaned properly first of all. He is more than likely scared, hungry and lonely for his clutch mates. Is he crying, Do you know how to feed him properly? I would go back to the bird store or breeder you got him from and learn to feed him properly. A bird that is forced to wean out to soon will have emotional problems and possibley become very ill or starve to death.
Edit to add…He isnt attacking you, he is begging to be fed.
You can spoon feed him warm mashed up sweet potatoes{not to hot} as a comfortfeeding, if he wont take it from the spoon, maybe from your fingers. That bird is hungry. You really need to get back to where you got him and learn to feed him
